    We are proud to welcome you to our visual and performing arts programs that offer students experiences in self expression, problem solving, higher level thinking skills, and endless creativity. We believe that every public school student in SUSD will receive a high-quality K - 12 education of which the arts are an intrinsic part of the core curriculum. The arts strengthen a child’s academic growth and development as an individual. Also the arts prepare the child to feel a part of and make a positive contribution to the community. Arts education ensures a creative and competitive workforce to meet the economic opportunities of the present and future.
