Welcome to 99 Arts 2012!  We are looking forward to a new year of exciting, meaningful, and productive effort to accomplish our mission, vision, and goals that connect us in the community and beyond. This year we will add an arts education section to our website and continue its development over the year. Another new area of the website will be a section on the art of architecture. It will include resource materials, films, and links. Other disciplines will be included in the near future.

Our technology goals include a complete transition to high definition video. This will include both original works and video for the web and streaming. We are also in the planning stages for adding new art disciplines to our website. Adapting cloud computing to our projects is also one of our important goals for 2012. We hope to find new and innovative adaptations that will enhance our efforts to promote the arts and arts education for the public over the year. Keeping the website current as well offering interactive participation has always been our goal.  

Two ongoing projects we will complete this year are: a book and accompanying dvd documentary on the History of the Royal Cambodian Ballet. A second project that will also be in book and dvd formats is an extensive documentary on the experimental art group from Japan called Gutai. Highlighting unknown or under recognized master artists is an ongoing activity.

As we continue to evolve and adapt with cultural, economic, and technological changes, our basic goal of serving the community and beyond in promotion of the arts for the general public and education has not changed. Each year we have gained new insights into how we define ourselves and how to best serve those who benefit from our efforts. We hope you, our valued participants, will continue to be active in the arts and support our efforts as well those of other artists in your neighborhoods and beyond. Thank you for past interest in our work. We value your support and participation this year!
